Discipline Yourself To Excel....

29 Observe people who are good at their work-skilled workers are always in demand and admired; they don't take a back seat to anyone.

Inside each of us lies incredible God given talent and potential, but you can’t get much done in life if you only work on the days you feel like it. He who is afraid of working too much always works too little. The key is discipline and we alone have that power over ourselves. God won’t do it for us!! He gives us the ability to make wise choices but leaves the decision to us. He made us stewards over our own free will.

Without discipline we can achieve nothing worthwhile in life. Remember that every overnight success comes from years of hard work! Let us be grateful and thankful to God for the abilities that he has bestowed upon us and that we have the freedom to choose to work hard and develop our gifts. In the words of Jonas Salk, “the reward for work well done is the opportunity to do more.

Do everything you do with a spirit of excellence that would bring glory and honor to the living God. You can only do this with a spirit of humility and a sense of purpose that comes from him. One day when our journey on earth is done we will all stand before the king of kings to be judged for what we did with our gifting. Sow seeds now that will give you rewards that will go into eternity.

But while living, if we are diligent and excel in our work we can stand before kings of the earth, for the destiny of the diligent is not the company of the obscure and insignificant because cream always rises to the top. Give life your all and be the best you that you can be for the glory of God!
